WHAT IS THE APPLICATION PROCESS?
It’s easy! Visit us online whenever you get the Crave to apply. You’ll provide us with your basic contact and background information, and then take an assessment we ask all our prospective team members to complete.
CAN I APPLY IN PERSON?
Since our application now lives online, that’s the best way to submit your qualifications. We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint, so we don’t keep many paper applications on hand anymore.
WHAT IF I NEED FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING?
One of the great things about working for White Castle is our flexible scheduling. Please be sure to talk to your hiring manager about your availability.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO WORK AT WHITE CASTLE?
Team members at our restaurants must be 16 years old, while our manufacturing plant locations employ team members 18 and above.
I’M A STUDENT. ARE THERE JOBS THAT WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE?
Absolutely! Working at White Castle is great for students. Not only do we offer great benefits that can help support you as you continue your education, but Cravers visit us round the clock. That means there’s almost always a shift that will fit your availability.
We also offer leaves of absence for our team members enrolled in college. Team members can remain on our payroll as long as they work on their school breaks and summer vacation, which means there’s always a job waiting for you!
IS PREVIOUS RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?
Not necessarily. Many of our managers started out with us as their first job. If you are friendly, energetic, and eager to learn, we want you on our team.
DO I NEED A RESUME TO APPLY?
No, our application is totally online making it easy and convenient. You can apply 24/7!
SHOULD I BRING A RESUME TO THE INTERVIEW?
It’s not required, but if you have one, we welcome you to share it with your hiring manager. He or she will be happy to review it.
DO I NEED TO BE A U.S. CITIZEN TO WORK AT WHITE CASTLE?
We pride ourselves on having a diverse work force. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to work at White Castle, but you must have the proper documentation that shows you are eligible to work in the United States.
CAN I REFER MY FRIENDS TO WORK AT WHITE CASTLE?

ARE THERE NON-RESTAURANT JOBS AVAILABLE AT WHITE CASTLE?
Yes! Our six manufacturing plants and Home Office employ a variety of specialty positions. Our need for great team members varies from week to week, so please check often for the opportunity that might be your perfect fit.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY ONLINE APPLICATION WAS RECEIVED?
Once you complete the online application and assessment, we’ll send you a confirmation message letting you know the next step in your journey towards joining our team. Sometimes candidates who complete the assessment don’t move forward on their first try. But they are eligible to take it again after six months. If you didn’t make it the first time, we encourage you to reapply in the future.
